Konyak dance
- Around 4700 konyak Naga women, in their colorful traditional Attire together on April 5 2019, in an attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the "Largest Traditional Konyak Dance."
- In their attempt, konyak people danced to the beats of traditional instruments and sang a ceremonial song for 5 minutes and one second.
- The official declaration on the record to be announced by the Guinness authority is expected within the five days.
- Guinness World Records is a global brand, with offices in London, New York, China, Japan and UAE with brand ambassadors on the ground around the world.
- The program was organised at mon( Nagaland) during the Aoleang monyu festival of The konyak Tribe which is celebrated every year in the first week of April to welcome the spring.
- Konyak is the one of the 16 Naga tribes and people of this community live mainly in the mon districts of Nagaland.
